How many sick days can I cash out at retirement?


Retiring members may cash out one day for every four accumulated during active service.

How many vacation days can I accumulate?


Anyone who entered UNIT II prior to 1986 can accumulate 102 vacation days; anyone who entered UNIT II after 1986 can accumulate 144 vacation days. Cashout at retirement is 86 days regardless of entry date into UNIT II. Excess accumulated days over 102 or 144 each year must be used before July 1

What is the next step in evaluation?


In January, 2006, Unit II supervisors should hold evaluation conferences with their subordinates. Any evaluation less than satisfactory must be preceded by a ninety (90) day assistance plan.
