Union Privilege Legal Services

AFSA members can get a lawyer's help -- usually for free -- through the Union Privilege Legal Service. One call puts union members in touch with a nationwide network of over 900 lawyers who offer many free services. AFSA members can talk to a Union Privilege Legal Service Lawyer (in person or on the phone) about almost any personal legal matter for 30 minutes -- free.

The lawyer will also review and explain any personal documents, such as leases, insurance policies, or sales contracts, at no charge. If the Union Privilege lawyer thinks a letter or phone call will solve the problem, he or she will call or write it free. If a legal problem needs additional attention, members get 30% off the lawyer's normal fee.
